Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel, am now 23 weeks after losing my first one in January. You will see from the previous posts that I have been
worried, and little things scare me and panic me. I think it's only natural after what we've been through. People keep telling me to relax and enjoy
the pregnancy, but it's hard and people who haven't been through a miscarriage don't understand why I worry so. Since I had the miscarriage, I
spoke to a lot of older friends who told me they'd had a miscarriage, and then gone on to have two or three healthy pregnancies, so I took comfort from
that. Difficult as they are to go through, miscarriages are very common, and it does not follow that having had one, that we will lose these babies.. At 16
weeks you are past the 'safe' stage, so take comfort from that, although I still find it hard not to panic even though am well past that stage. As
for not gaining weight, I don't know what the normal weight gain for twins is, but I certainly hadn't gained much weight by 16 weeks, and it is really
only this week that I have started suddenly gaining much more of a bump and being noticebly pregnant. You seem to be having regualar check ups and I'm
sure thay would have said if they didn't think your weight gain was normal.
Keep posting your worries on here, and I'll be thinking of you , hoping all goes well. Try not to worry too much, but I know how hard it is not too!
