Hi Tess,
I'll start by saying that I'm really happy that the doctor found nothing wrong. That's a good step in the right direction. I've actually been wondering if I don't have a problem myself.
I also understand how you feel about the announcements of pregnancies. It's hard isn't it? You want so badly to be happy for your friends and your family when they share their big announcements, and instead it feels like a slap in the face; almost as though something has been done to you. I feel the same way. One of my friends (actually... I think you may have been the one that responded to me), just told me that she's expecting her first. And she's absolutley oozing delight. I can't help being annoyed, angry and hurt that my pregnancy is gone when she gets to have it right on the first try. Logic... and just a fair mind tells me that this is nothing that she's "done" to me. It was just a part of life. I keep telling myself that... but that doesn't seem to make it any easier. I wish I didn't even have to be around her sometimes. I hate seeing the happiness when I'm still so raw after my loss in January. And when my hubby and myself haven't had any success since.
I'm sorry, Tess. I'm sorry that you're hurting. But I know that we'll all get through this. Deep breath!! If there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get pregnant, then I honestly believe that you will. Do your best to relax (easier said than done, right... I can't seem to do it, either). Love yourself! I really do believe that this will work for you. Be happy with your news. I'll keep you in my thoughts on this end.
Jen
