Adrienne,
I have definitely found that no one understands miscarriage until they actually experience it. I hated the things that people said to me when it first happened. I almost sent out a mass email detailing for them exactly what should and should not be said to me. I stayed away from a few people who were unintentionally hurtful. I now can look back almost five months later and know that they were trying to be comforting. Unfortunately, in our society, people simply don't understand that miscarriage is the loss of a child. From the time you have a positive pregnancy test, the hopes and dreams for that child are there. Hang in there.
